REALTOR 328 JEFFERSON • KERRVILLE, TEXAS 78028 512-896-1255 September 21, 1992 The Honorable Commissioners' Court County of Kerr Kerrville, Tx 78028 Dear Sirs: The officers and directors of the Kerrville Board of Realtors, did in the summer of 1991, appoint a committee to keep the Board and its membership apprised of actions that relate to the environmental health of Kerr County. This committee has followed the progress of the new Kerr County Order pertaining to on-site sewerage facilities and realize that sooner or later we will have a new order in effect. In the meantime, the committee feels that there are two actions which could be taken by the Commissioner's Court that will help keep our environment safe. The recommendations of the committee are that: (1) The Court rescind Order [Vo. 18185 of October 1988, and (2) The Court authorize the Kerr County Environmental Health Department to perform inspections on any existing on-site sewerage facility. These inspections could be requested by the owner or by the "Property Condition Addendum" of a real estate contract. Curtis Meek and Calvin Holland presented these recommendations to the Kerrville Board of REALTOR'S monthly meeting of officers and directors on Thursday, September 17, 1992. The officers and directors of the Kerrville Board of REALTORS by unanimous vote request that the Kerr County Commissioners Court favorably consider these aforementioned recommendations.
