TRANSFER FUNDS TO THE ROAD DISTRICT
On this the 23rd day of March 1992, upon motion made by Commissioner
Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the Court UNANIMOUSLY
APPROVED BY A VOTE OF 4-0-0, to declare an emergency and transfer
the balance from Road Districts Fund to be applied to Road and
Bridge for the completion of Road District Projects.

RE Road District Funds
Road Districts were set up in several areas of Ken County for the
purpose of having roads constructed and paved by having the landowner
pay a "Special Road Tax" to be paid over a period of I S years.
The County then funded these projects out of Road & Bridge Budget
paying contractors to build the roads. The understanding was that all
funds received through these special taxes be put back into the road
districts until they were finished, then the funds were to be paid to
Road and Bridge for reimbursement of money spent.
Over the years all roads for these districts have been completed with
^ the exception of Kerrville South II.
I ask the Commissioners' Court to transfer all funds in the budget lines
on the attached page to Budget Line Number 20-310-SOS -- Kerrville
South II Road District, and that the County Treasurer transfer all
previously paid funds for this purpose into the budget line for the
completion of Kerrville South II.
