RANCHERO ROAD
On this the 13th. day of April 1992, upon motion made by
Commissioner Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to advertise
for bids on a French Drain for the reconstruction of Ranchero
Road. Bids to be received by the County Clerk's Office until
S:tZiO P. M. on May 1, 1992 then opened and read aloud during a
special meeting on Monday, May 4, 1992, in the Commissioners'

INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bid Proposals addressed to the KERR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT will be
received at the office of the County Clerk, 700 Main Street, Kerrville, Texas
78028, until 5:00 P.M. Friday May 1, 1992, then opened and publicly read during
a special meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court at10:00A.M.on Monday
May 4, 1992, in the Commissioners Court Room, for furnishing all labor,
materials and equipment for the CONSTRUCTION OF A FRENCH DRAIN (AN UNDERGROUND
DRAINAGE FACILITY) along Ranchero Drive from State Highway No. 16 to Valley View
Drive in Kerrville South, Kerr County, Texas.
Bid Proposals are to be submitted in duplicate on forms provided, in sealed
envelopes, and identified "SEALED BID PROPOSAL FOR FRENCH DRAIN" "to be opened
Monday May 4, 1992, at lO:OQA.M. during a special meeting of the Kerr County
Commissioners Court", and the name of the firm subitting the Bid Proposal. The
bid must include unit prices and a Bid Bond or surety in the amount of ten (10)
per cent of the total amount bid. Performance & Payment Bonds will be required
to be furnished in the total amount of the contract by the firm to which a
contract is awarded. The County will pay ninety (90%) per cent monthly for work
completed in accordance with the Contract Documents.
A PRE-BID MEETING will be held at the site of the work at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday
April 29, 1992 for discussion of the proposed work.
Plans, specifications and bidding documents may be secured from the office of
Voelkel Engineering & Surveying, 212 Clay Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028 (Phone
512-257-3313).
A contract for the work will be awarded by the Commissioners Court on Monday ~iay
11, 1492, during a regular meeting of the Court.
The Commissioners Court reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals
and to waive informalities in bidding. In case of ambiguity or lack of
clearness in stating the prices in any bid, they further reserve the right to
consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the Bid
Proposal. The award will be made to the bidder submitting the lowest acceptable
bid.
