See Agenda Request Guidelines. ~o To: Kerr County Commissioners Court From: David Motley Date: May 7, 1996 (08:15 a.m.) Subject: Support information for agenda request for 05/13/96 meeting I am still in need of another attorney and another office staff person. We have had three full-time prosecuting attorneys in this office since Burke Huber was hired by Judge Denson as an assistant, effective November 8, 1989. We have reduced our civil workload only marginally but have given up one entire attorney's position with the belief that "civil" matters would be handled by others. My office remains unable to fulfill our duties with the staffing as it currently is. It is my hope that you will defer to my judgment as the elected official in this office and provide the funding for personnel and staff necessary to function. Others providing input to the court on this item should have actual knowledge concerning the functioning of our office. i U~ i.~`~~~ r0 I~ 2,10 ~S~~TI ~ Spa f~ S ~ f icy °f ~ ~~~~At~o~'eY (pis~sslon OnIY~ MaY 13, 1996 Vol t3 ~ Page 466
