R p~_~blic hearing was held at 10:@Q R.M. on June 3, 1992 with
.^_9 members of the p~_iblic present. Mr'. pi Stephano discussed
the proposed .jail expansion on construction and operational
costs for the various alternatives; Expansion to present
facility, Off-Site Facility or Ho~_ising prisoners Out of
County. The public was given an amortization schedule and a
copy of the proposed plans with the three options given. The
public hear-ing held at 7:0~D P. M. on June 3, 1992 had 19
public members in attendance. Both hearings were recessed

all Officers" Present, and the following proceedings were
had:

AGF'ROVAL TD SET AN ELECTION DATE FOR BOND ELECTION
On this the 4th day of June 1992, ~_tpon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Oehler^, the
Co~_~r-t unani~oualy approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to set an
election date of R~_igust ;.'S, 1992, for permission to iss~_~e
bonds or- other f~.rnding fnr incarceration needs of Kerr Co~_inty
giving the voters an opportunity to express their preference
in handling these needs.
