Subject: Reduced animal registration fee for rabies vaccinations done by the
Animal Welfare Society
The Animal Welfare Society is planning to hold a rabies vaccination day on
Saturday, October 10, 1992 from 9 a. m. to 1 p.m. at their Thrift Shop located
on Water Street.
They are offering a reduced fee of $3.00 for the rabies vaccination. They have
asked if the County would offer a $2.00 registration fee for all animals
vaccinated instead of our normal $2.00 for neutered/spayed and $5.00 for
unaltered animals. The total price to the pet owner would then be $5.00
This is similar to what was done with the County-wide vaccination drive in
February, 1991. See attached Order #20076.
Action requested of the Commissioners Court is to allow a one time fee of $2.00
for rabies vaccinations given by the Animal Welfare Society on October 10, 1992.
