Consideration of filing suit seeking extension of the filing deadline for elected
offices after hearing from Austin. hlaxy Nell Davis addressed the Court saying she
had been advised by counsel to remain with January 2, 1992 at 6:00 P.M. deadline.
The Courts position would be to assist the party chairs with anything they may have
questions on but if the chairs feel there is not need for the filing deadline to be
extended the Court would go with their recommendations.

recacmendation of T~mty Tomlinson, the County Auditor.
