Consideration of filing suit seeking extension of the filing deadline for elected
offices after hearing from Austin. Diary Nell Davis addressed the Court saying she
had been advised by counsel to remain with January 2, 1992 at 6:00 P.M. deadline.
The Courts position would be to assist the party chairs with anything they may have
questions on but if the chairs feel there is not need for the filing deadline to be
extended the Court would go with their rec:amu~ndations.

to proceed with the purchase of 380 Mega Bites from the Software Group upon the
recwimendation of Tommy Tanlinson, the County Auditor.

the bids to the Sheriff and the County Auditor for further review and they are to
cane back to the Court with their recarrtnendations.
