CONSIDERATION OF ACAUISITION OF PROPERTY
On this the 14th day of July 1992, upon motion made by
Commissioner Oehler, seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the
Court unanimoumly approved by a votm of 4-0-0, to pursue the
purchase of the Guadalupe Savings end Loan Buildings from
Lindsey Duff Enterprises and authorize the County Attorney to
make a contract and draw up the necessary documents to pursue
the purchase oŁ said property.
FRANKIE SPEAKMON - spoke to the Commissioners oŁ the cast
involved to fix the water fountain Charles Whelan has given
an estimate of 54,000.00. Frankie said he has two Contracts
one for the washing oŁ the building and one for the repairs
on the windows of the Old Courthouse the estimation for both
oŁ these contracts ie between 510,000.00 to S15,000.00.
Frankie also reported that there had been a stoppage in the
sewer that was caused by the Juveniles in the Juvenile
Detention Center.
