Discussion of Juvenile Detention and the Kerr County Jail. rduestions were asked to Robert Henderson of Rauscher Pierce Advisor on whether the language on the ballot can be done before the ballot is printed: His response was yes it could be done before September B, 1952. A discussion was held on whether or not there should be three options on the ballot il. For an Off-site Facility - For or Against, 2. For an On-Site Faci:City - For or Against, or 3. For a Juvenile Facility - For or Against), or Two options (1. Off-site Facility, 2. Juvenile Facility), Commissioner Holekamp stated he would do what the concensus of the Court did. Judge Stacy took a poll of the Court with Commissioner Lackey stating he would like two separate issues on the Ballot, being the Off-site facility and the Juvenile Detention Facility. Commissioner Morgan stated he would like to see three optionsa on the ballot. Commissioner Holekamp will support what the Court wants to do but feels he too would like to see three options on the ballot. Commissioner Oehler stated he would like to see two issues on the ballot but would like to include the renovations of the existing jail to be added to whatever the cost is for building the off-site plus renovations cost. Judge Stacy stated he would go with the two options of Off-site Facility, and the Juvenile Facility. COMMISSIONERS COURT ADJOURNED AT 11:15 A. M. PAGE 720
