On this the 18th day of October 1993, upon motion made by
Commissioner- Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Lehman, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to nominate
Paula Rector to ser-ve on the Kerr- County Rppraisal Boar-d.
ITEM NO. 1.2
Consider- site for^ Law Enfor^cement Facility.
Commissioner Lehman addressed the Court stating he knew
nothing about the meeting held at the City on Fr^iday, October
15, 1993. He stated everyone knew about it accept him. The
City did withdr^aw from joining in with the County on the Law
Enforcement Facility. Commissioner- Lehman made a motion to
cancel the bond issue, cancel the architect, and form a
citizen's committee to make recommendations to the Court to
bring our .jail up to standards. This motion died for a lack
of a second.
The Judge polled the Court on the site selection of the KF'UB
Site and the Ag Barn site. The majority of the Court voted
for- the KF'UP Site.
