Saturday, February 6, was selected by the committee as the one
afternoon county-wide rabies immunization day for pets and
livestock from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. ~.ith the schedule of places
and the veterinarians as follows:

The cost will be S6.00 per animal. Dr. Lloyd Leifeste has
coordinated veterinarians. Eddie Holland, County Extension Agent-
Ag., Captain Scott Evans, Animal Control Supervisor, i;en i;holin,
City animal Control Sr. Officer, and Da~-id Lithe of the 1;err County
Animal Health Control will coordinate public information (mass
media) and educational activities for school and communities with
l:eith ?Mason, Region 9 of zoonosis control.
The local residents of I;errville will be informed that they may
have their pets vaccinated at a reduced rate at their local
veterinarian's office during regular working hours February 8
through February 20.
