RE.: Drainage work on Split Rock
We have been working; with the Texas Department of Transportation on
correcting a drainage problem on Split Rock. The materials have been
purchased and the actual work should begin some time in July or August.
~hhis project was designed by the TDOT and the constructron will be done
by Kerr County Road & Bridge. It was designed to help with the flooding
problem of the homeowners of Paradise Acres.
7'he construction will not correct all of the drainage problems, but will
help on a 10'year freduency.
~- We have done everything possible to help the people, bu't this area is
always going to be prone to flooding. The County nor the State can do
anything to correct all of the problems in this area.
