RE Awarding of Bid for Trailer Mounted Brush Chipper
Sealed bids were received December 23, 1992 and opened December 28, 1992
for a Trailer Mounted Brush Chipper.
The Bids were as follows:

Vermeer Equipment $17,500.00 $15,500.00
Poston Equipment 17,995.00 14,495.00
Our recommendation to the Commissioners' Court is to take the lower price of
$17,500.00 from Vermeer and keep our old chipper as a backup for Community
Service. Should this prove unnecessary, then we feel we can sell the old
machine for $3,000.
