This position requires stand alone, supervision, self-starting, and in some instances, decision-making skills. Based on these requirements it is requested that this position be approved for hire at Six Dollars and Eighty-eight Cents per hour ($6.88/hr). See attached job description. Respectfully BILL RAY Coordinator Community Service (Kerr County) Job Description Weekend Supervisor, SWAP/Community Service The following are requirements for the job of Kerr County Road & Bridge Department (R&B) Weekend Supervisor for Probationers assessed Sheriff's Work Alternative Program (SWAP) or Community Service. • Self-starter that supervises probationers on Kerr County Rights- Of-Way in traffic safety control, brush cutting, trash pick-up, mowing, and minor road repairs. • Operate light equipment, i.e., dump truck, front end loader, backhoe, brush chipper, tractor w/mower, to include first echelon maintenance. • Has contact with the public. • Physical labor in all types weather conditions will be required. • Texas Operators License. • Paid by Kerr County Road & Bridge Department. No employment opportunities nor fringe benefits beyond Workmen's Compensation; withholding income tax; and FICA. • Transportation primarily R&B equipment. However, if personal vehicle used, mileage paid ~ Twenty-eight Cents per Mile ($0.28/mi.). • Normal work hours -Saturday and Sunday, 0730 - 1630 hours (7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) with thirty (30) minutes deducted for lunch.
