17, Grade .,. Upon motion made by Commissioner- Hole4<amp,
seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the Co~_irt voted by a
majority vote of 3-1-@, with Commissioner Lehman voting Nay
to approve the Step and Grade of Gary Chapman at 17/3, and a
second motion was made by Commissioner-r_ehman to approve the
Step E~~, Gr•ade 'G for- Robert L. Er•own 6~_~t failed for- a lack of
a second.

4. Unless spec ific~lly authorized by the Commissioner's Court, all

salary range to which the position is allocated, regardless of the
amount of funds appropriated Eor that position and regardless of
the amount of appropriated and unexpended balances in the
particular line item which contains that position.

5. No prospective employee is .authorized to perfo--m any work for
the county and salary appropriated under this Budget shall be
expended for a new hire until the prospective employee has
con.~lete~l thr_ followi7~g required documents and has filed them with
the County Treasurer or such other personnel officer as may be
desiunated by t_he Court:

b. IRS Form W-4
c. Kerr County Medical Examination Form (showing that
prospective employee is physically qualified for the
position)

6. No employee may be issued a final paycheck upon termination
until the employee has completed the following forms and has filed
