NOTICE OF PROPOSED SALARY INCREASE OF CERTAIN
ELECTED OFFICIAL OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
It is the intention of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr
County, Texas, to consider amending the budget to increase
the salary of the Constable Prect # 3 due to the increased
workload and redistricting, declaring an emergency at a
public hearing to be held in the Kerr County Courtroom of the
Kerr County Courthouse on Tuesday, May 11, 1993 at 10:00 a. m.
pursuant to Chapter 152.013, Local Government Code, and if
approved, to be effective June 1, 1993:

Dear Sirs,
Mr. Matter has extensive experience in law enforcement; 33
1/2 years with the Department of Fublic Safety, and 1 year
-- with the Ingram City Marshal's Office. He willingly assists
my department when called upon, transporting prisoners or
whr3tever is necessary.
I believe that he is an asset to Kerr County law enforcement
and his invaluable expertise can be of great benefit to all
of us; for these reasons I request yon consider Constable
Precinct #3, Raymond Matter, receiving a comparable salary
and benefits to the other constables in Kerr County.
