However experience dictates that while the details may vary the basic problems associated with the productive use of space are universal. It is with sincerity that I submit to you that I can assist the county in realizing their objectives in this matter. With out over burdening you with a lot of detailed back ground allow -- me to present the fact that I am qualified in the field of adminis- trative and plant layout. This includes not only space utilization but also encompasses analysis of actual space needs resulting from interviewing those affected followed up by cost and scheduling moni- toring. I had corporate responsibility for this type of effort for a large firm (LTV) in Dallas. The attached brochure defines other cities 1 have conducted similar studies. Also enclosed is an over view of space utilization problem and a few thoughts reflecting some of the considerations the committee will be faced with.
