ELEY, PUBLIC WEIGHER December 1992 82.aa ITEM NO. 2.1 Mr. Holland addressed the Court req~.iesting for^ Commissioners' Court to urge the Court to approve a resolution requesting State Representative Harvey Hilderbran to provide enabling legislation authorizing the Kerr County electorate to vote on acceptance of a 1/4 cent sales tax for offsetting the amortization cost of financing a Jail/Justice Center. After a disc~.~ssion the Court was of the opinion that we should have a workshop on discussing the resolution further. Commissioner Lehman applauded Mr. Holland for^ his effor^ts and thinks to people should be given a chance to make a choice. ITEM NO 2.2 Consideration of proposed lease agreement with E. Rr•~_~ce Cur^ry for property located at 521 Earl Garrett St., Kerrville, Tx (This item was passed). ORDER NO. 21264 ARRROVRL OF RPPOINTMENT OF BENNETT JAMES TO THE 911 BOARD RS COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE On this the 12th day of January 1993, capon motion made by Commissioner Lehman, seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the Court unani~ously approved by a vote of 4-0-0~ to appoint Bennett James as Co~_inty Representative to the 911 Roar•d to fill the unexpired term of Frank Felts for^ R~.~gust 31, 1994.
