' Commissioner Oehler stated that at the time it was put on the
ballot operational cost was discussed there was nothing
hidden, It is har^d to inform the public. No one asked us to
do anything or we would have had more talks.
Tommy stated that he and the Sheriff had done some figures of
his own to project the operating cost. Rut safety was a big
issue with the public not the expense of it. Sheriff Kaiser
stated that she felt we had not had eno~_igh time to inform the
public, on the issues. We ar-e getting to the point now that
it doesn't matter whether or not HB 93 does reimbur^se we are
still needing the additional space.
Mr Holland stated that his main reason far coming before the
Court was this county is growing and is going to continue to
grow. Rep Hilderbran has told me he will support the decision
the Court makes and will support it through the legislation.
We need to be planning further down the road. Rep.
Hilderbran will support a resolution of 1/4 cent sales tax if
there is a terminating clause.

ITEM 1.^c DISCUSSION OF RECDMMENDATION OF RRCHITECT IN REGRRD
TO THE KERR COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING AND CDURTHOUSE
SPACE USAGE.
Commissioner Holekamp whatever^ we do is based on what is best
for Kerr County. Look at overall picture and space of
Rdministrative Building bottom floor and additional space.
Gersonally I feel this would be better for the alder
population. The other building would be more accessible. If
we make the decision of the T/R Office moving to the
Rdministrative Puilding then we accommodate the her.
Sheriff's Office would move into the T/A Office and the
Ruditor and the Treasurer would move there also. We are not
setting anything in stone. Rrchitect sees the Tax Office
being a separate entity. Paula wanted to know the cost
projection for renovation of Administrative Building and was
given a figure of f55,@@@.@@ total. She discussed her office
set up now and the computer usage of updating r^ecords and
whether she would have the opportunity to load her software
on because not ,just anyone can load her wor^k on. She stated
that you have to work in the Tax Office to be able to know
what you need for her^ reports to the State.
Microfilming was another subject she touch on for^ her old
records which won't fr^ee much more space but this is a
necessity due to the records slowly fading away.
