Report and discussion on Jail Site Committee findings.
'~, Commissioner Oehler addressed 'the Co~_u•t stating that he and
Commissioner Lackey had sever^al meetings with the City and
they were getting closer- to a definite proposal. They are to
have a meeting this afternoon to discuss some more questions
they have. Rt this time the only property that seems to be
what Kerr County can use is the 10 acre that sit behind KF'UP.
The City has told us that they wo~_~ld do the sewer- and streets
ar~d this would be their- portion of the cost. This location
is the only location that we have looked at that wo~.ild have
some expansion possibilities. The County and the City wo~_ild
both be in this building and we would have Centralized
dispatching.
