`-.- OPENED AND READ BIDS FOR RENOVATION
OF THE TEMPORARY JAIL FACILITY
On this the 16th day of November 1993, came on to be
considered the bids of Better Built Enterprises, Inc. of San
Antonio, Tx, Lariat General Contractor, Inc., San Antonio,
Tx, Stoddard Construction Co., of San Rntonio, Tx and DanCo
Construction Co. of Kerrville, Tx.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by
Commissioner Lackey, the Court unanimously approved by a vote
of 4-0-0, to refer all bids to DiStephano for further review
and to come back to the Court with his recommendation.
ITEM NO. 1.6
~_ Discussion with Ruben Bohnert regarding cost of the Juvenile
Detention Center.
A discussion was held with Mr. Bohnert regarding the cost and
why the cost has gone up considerably from what was discussed
previously. The Court wants Mr. Bohnert to stay within the
the cost the Court has set. This item is to be put on the
November 23, 1993 agenda at 1:30 P.M.
ITEM NO. 1.7
Discussion of sign on the Administration Building.
The Court wants the sign painted and Commissioner Lackey is to
get a proposal from Guadalupe Signs for the cost on having the
work done.
