This contract is made this date between Ardith (Ardie) Dixon,
hereafter referred to as Contractor, and Kerr County.
Contractor agrees to handle the on-going office functions at the
Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center Booking Office in Kerrville
for a period beginning April 1, 1994 and ending September 30, 1994.
Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the function
calendar for the Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center and to
coordinate all functions through the Kerr County Governing Board of
the Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center. Be available to show the
facilities to prospective lessees, ascertain status of insurance
and see that booked events have an approved plan, ie (or)is within
the Kerr County's policies, to include liquor licenses, horse stall
rentals, exhibitors requirements, table & chair rentals, etc. Work
with all people in a friendly and professional manner. Be
available for additional duties on an "as needed" basis.
Contractor shall receive a compensation of Five Hundred, Twenty-
Five Dollars ($525.00) per calendar month for the contract period
($25.00 of the sum being allocated for auto allowance) payable on
the 15th day of each month. The average hours for this contract
should not exceed eighty (80) hours per month. Should the hours of
the Contractor increase substantially, the compensation would be
open for review by the Contractor and the Kerr County Governing
Board of N.C.Y.E.C. Contractor shall be responsible for all taxes
associated with her compensation. Contractor shall be responsible
for her personal health insurance.
This contract may be terminated by either party upon written
notification with 30 days advance notice of the effective date of
termination unless mutually agreed in writing to the contrary. This
contract shall be up for renewal on October 1, 1994.
