ARDITH DIXON AND AUTHORIZATION OF THE GOUNTY

On this the 28th day of November^ 1994, upon motion made by
Commissioner^ Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner^ Oehler, the
Cour^t unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-8, to r^atify the
contract between Ker^r^ County and Ar^dith Dixon and
author^ization of the Ca~.~nty Judge's signat~_~re.

This contract is made this date between Ar^dith (Ar^die) Dixon,
her^eafter^ refer^r^ed to as Contr^actor^, and Ker^r^ County.
Contractor agrees to handle the on-going office functions at
the Hill Countr^y Youth Exhibition Center^ Booking Office in
Kerrville for a per^iod beginning October i, 1994, and ending
September 30, 1995.
Contr^actor^ shall be responsible for maintaining the function
calendar^ for^ the Hill Countr^y Youth Exhibition Center^ and to
coordinate all functions thra~.tgh the Kerr County Governing
Boar^d of the Hill Countr^y Youth Exhibition Center^. Be
available to show the facilities to pr^aspective lessees,
aster^tain status aF insur^ance and see that banked events have
an approved plan, ie (or^) is within the Kerr Go~_~nty' s
policies, to include liquar^ licenses, hor^se stall r^entals,
exhibitors requirements, table & chair' r^entals, etc. Work
with all people in a fr^iendly and pr^ofessional manner^. Be
available for' additional duties an an "as needed" basis.
Contr'attar shall r^eceive a compensation of Five Hundred,
Seventy-Five Dollar^s (~575.00> per calendar month for the
contract per^iod plus an additional X50.00 seam being allocated
for a~_~to allowance. Three Hundr^ed, Twelve Dollar^s and Fifty
Cents payable on the fifteenth and on the last day of each
month. If the fifteenth ar^ the last day of the month falls on
Sat~_-r'day or S~_~nday, the pr^eceding Friday wi 11 be the day the
payment shall be paid. If the fifteenth or^ the last day of the
month falls on a holiday, the payment shall be paid on the
last wor'king day pr^eceding the holiday.
The average hours for this contract should not exceed eighty
(9Q~) ha~_~rs per month. Should the hours of the Contractor
increase substantially, the compensation would be open for
review by the Contractor and the Kerr County Governing Poard
of H. C. Y. E. C. Contractor shal 1 be responsible for, all taxes
associated with her compensation. Canty^actor shall be
responsible for her personal health insurance.
This contract may be terminated by either party upon written
notification with 3O days advance notice of the effective date
of termination unless mutually agreed in writing to the
contrary. This contract shall be ~_ip far renewal on October 1,
1995.

This contract is made this date between Ardith (Ardie) Dixon,
hereafter referred to as Contractor, and Kerr County.
Contractor agrees to handle the on-going office functions at the
Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center Booking Office in Kerrville
for a period beginning October 1, 1994 and ending September 30,
1995.
Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the function
calendar for the Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center and to
coordinate all functions through the Kerr County Governing Board of
the Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center. Be available to show the
facilities to prospective lessees, ascertain status of insurance
and see that booked events have an approved plan, ie (or)is within
the Kerr County's policies, to include liquor licenses, horse stall
rentals, exhibitors requirements, table & chair rentals, etc. Work
with all people in a friendly and professional manner. Be
available for additional duties on an "as needed" basis.
_ Contractor shall receive a compensation of Five Hundred, Seventy-
Five Dollars ($575.00) per calendar month for the contract period
plus an additional $50.00 sum being allocated for auto allowance.
Three Hundred, Twelve Dollars and Fifty Cents payable on the
fifteenth and on the last day of each month. If the fifteenth or
the last day of the month falls on Saturday or Sunday, the
preceding Friday will be the day the payment shall be paid. If the
fifteenth or the last day of the month falls on a holiday, the
payment shall be paid on the last working day preceding 'the
holiday.
The average hours for this contract should not exceed eighty (80)
hours per month. Should the hours of the Contractor increase
substantially, the compensation would be open for review by the
Contractor and the Kerr County Governing Board of H.C.Y.E.C.
Contractor shall be responsible for all taxes associated with her
compensation. Contractor shall be responsible far her personal
health insurance.
This contract may be terminated by either party upon written
notification with 30 days advance notice of the effective date of
termination unless mutually agreed in writing to the contrary. This
contract shall be up for renewal on October 1, 1995.
