Subject:	Precoated Rock for Kerrville South
The curbed streets in Kerrville South are in the ETJ of Kerrville. In the past we have sealed ahem
with local rock. This causes problems in high traffic areas with skid and the clean up of excess
gravel.
Our broom is not designed to sweep curbed streets and extra gravel makes it hard for the citizens
who walk or ride bicycles. In the past we have had lots of complaints in that area after we paved
and the only way to clean is by hand.
If we pave with a precoated rock as it should be, it will cost approximately $33,000 for that area.
This is more than we have allotted for gravel. It can be taken out of Contract Fees, but then we
will be short on something else..
