We had a public hear~ing on Lot i'7 So~_ither~n Hi 11 s F'hase One which was disapproved due to the shortage of water, and r~oads not being adeq~_~ate far this ar^ea. The question was raised if there has been a substantial change in the plat fr^om the time that it was presented as a pr^eliminary would the develaper~ need to Come back to Gaur~t for^ another~ pr^eliminary plat ? Mr. Vaelkel Stated that the develaper is only trying to do what is right. When this plat did r_ome in the fir~st time it was pr^esented as one piece, now it has been divided into phases, and the dwellings will be str~.~ctur~ed homes not mad~_~lar homes as what was first discussed. There were several cancer~ned citizens in the Cour~traam for this discussion and there concerns are about the water, sewerage, and roads etc. Mrs, Rooney stated if the water is extended into the Indian Hills ar~ea then~e will not be enough water~ for~ ever~yone in the So~_~thern Hills Subdivision or Indian Hills area because we don't have eno~_~gh water pressure as it is.
