Subject:	Clarification of Roads in Precinct 4
We had a request for signs on Big Buck and Jack Rabbit Circle. The following roads of Ken
Vista Ranch, Section 4,( Vol. 5 Page 237) in Precinct 4 are all listed as not County Maintained:

Checking the files we found the attached letter that suggest these roads were to be accepted by
the county one year from the date of the letter of credit in accordance with the Kerr County
Subdivision Regulatiotzs.
At this time we ask the Court to consider adding these roads to the current list of County
Maintained roads.
We recently had a request to patch Joelle Ranch Road and it was done. This road has been tossed
around as to its status, but is not currently on the list of roads maintained by Ken County.
Should it be?
Last year there was some discussion about this road and its name (aiso~refened to as North Fork).
When we contacted 911 this month they had it listed as Cholle. Now, both departments have it
listed as Joelle Ranch Road.

Dear John,
This letter is to inform you that all roads and drainage have
been constructed to my satisfaction, and that I am returning your
Letters of Credit from (1) First City National• Bank of Austin for the
sum of SEVENTY SIX THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY SEVEN and
SO/100 DOLLARS, ($76,777.50), (2) Charter National Bank-Wertheimer
far the sum of TWELVE THOUSAND NINETY SEVEN and 50/100 DOLLARS, ;
($12,097.50), and (3) Western Bank-Downtown for the sum of
NINETY FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FOUR and 50/100 DOLLARS ($94,404.50),
held by the Kerr County Hon. Commissioner's Court, Kerr County
Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas 78028, for the assurance of Roads and
Drainage Improvements in the subdivision known.as Kerr Vista Ranch,
Sections One through Four. We are keeping the Letters of Credit
that insure Maintenance of the above mentioned road and drainage
improvements for one year from today or until the roads and drainage
are accepted for County Maintenance by the Hon. Commissioner's Court.
The County Road and Bridge Department will continue to maintain Midway
and Tatsch Roads, and they are to be excluded from the 2aintenance
Letters of Credit.
