PROGRESS PAYMENTS
5.1 Rased upun Applications for Payment submitted to the Architect h}' the Gunnaetor and Certificates for Payment issued by the
Architect, the Owner shall make progress payments en account of the Contract Sum to the Convactor av provided below and
elsewhere in the Contract Documents.

ARTICLE 6
FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment, constituting the entire unpaid balance of the Contract Sum, shall he made by the Owner to the Contractor when (1)
the Contract has been fully performed by the Contractor except for the Contractor's responsibility to correct nonconforming
Work as provided in Subpazagraph 12.2.2 of the General Conditions and to satisfy other requirements, if any, which necessarily
survive final payment; and (2) a final Cettificate for Payment has been issued by the Architect such final payment shall be made by
the Owner not more than 30 days after the issuance of the Architect's final Certificate for Payment, or as follows:
Final payment shall be made by OWNER not more than ten (10) days after
Architect certifies to the FINAL COMPLETION of the work. Refer to sub-
paragraph 9.4.3.4 of the SUPPLEMENTARY GENERAL CONDITIONS.
ARTICLE 7
MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
7.1 Where reference is made in this Agreement to a provision of the General Conditions or another Contract Document, the ref-
erence refers to that provision as amended or supplemented by other provisions of the Contract Documents.
7.2 Payments due and unpaid under the Contract shall bear interest from the date payment is due at the rate stated below, or in
the absence thereof, at the legal rate prevalling from time to time at the place where the Project is located.

agrees, subsequent to issuance of the Substantial Completion

CHANGES IN THE WORK. When changes in the Work are ordered
involving extra cost over and above the Contract Sum, the cost of
such extra work shall be stated as a lump sum to be added to the
Contract Sum before the extra work is begun, in which event the
lump sum shall represent the actual coat of labor and material
plus 15 percent overhead, plus. 15 percent profit for work
performs by the General Contractor, and 15 Percent profit on
subcontract work performed by a subcontractor.
COMPLIANCE ACKNOWLEDGMENT. The undersigned acknowledges this
Proposal is based on STRICT COMPLIANCE with the Drawings and
Specifications, ae to items, materials, methods, etc., or PRIOR
APPROVED EQUALS ISSUED BY ADDENDA BEFORE BID OPENING DATE.
If awarded the Contract for this Project, the undersigned proposes

GENERAL.
It is understood that if accepted by Owner, this Proposal becomes
a part of the Contract Documents upon the signing of the
Agreement, and failing to comply with any part of this Proposal
will be taken as failure of the Bidder to comply with the Contract
Agreement and will be just cause for rejection of the Work.
If awarded the Contract for this Project, the undersigned shall
submit to the Architect a list of subcontractors he proposes to
employ prior to executing the subcontracts. It is also understood
that OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to.accept

or reject any Alternate, to accept any combination of Alternates;
to accept any bid considered advantageous; and to waive any

substantial completion may be a major factor in determining the
most advantageous bid.

1. Provide (2) 70A., 3P spare circuit breakers in Panel DPA.
2. Provide (3) 30A., 3P spare circuit breakers in Panel PA.
3. Ref. Panel ELDP - The UPS served by Circuit 4 shall be rated
10 KVA Three Phase with 208 Volt, 3 PH input and output with 10
minutes battery back-up power. Unit shall be Emergency Power
Engineering, Inc. (EPE) Model EPS 2000.
Breaker serving UPS shall be rated 50 amp., 3 pole. Switch
at UPS shall be rated 60 amp., 3 pole with 40 amp fuses.
Provide (3) No. 6, (1) No. 8 GND, 1 conduit. Provide an
equivalent circuit at ELDP-6 for a by-pass circuit to UPS as
required by EPE. Panel UP shall be rated 120/208V, 3PH, '
4W, 100 A. Maine with a 60A. main circuit breaker.
4. All feeders to panelboards shall include a separate ground
wire.
5. The UPS and Panel UP shall be located in the Dispatch
office.
SHEET E6: All outlets as shown in the 8-man M.O.s shall have
ground fault protection.
SHEET E7: Each Female Separation Cell shall have an electric
outlet with ground fault protection. Extend to Circuit LA-28.
SECTION 09810 DRYVIT WALL FINISH SYSTEMS

1.00 GENERAL
A. This Section is subject to the provisions and requirements
of all Contract Documents.
B. DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
1. Field installed Dryvit finish system.
2. Complete accessories and materials for entire wall finish
system.
C. QUALITY ASSURANCE: Bids from applicators will sot be
considered unless applicator is an approved Dryvit Syetema, Inc.
applicator and acceptable to Architect.
D. SUBMITTALS: Prior to start of work, submit (2) samples for
Architect's approval of finishes as a standard of quality of
work of this Section.
E. DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING:
1. Deliver all material in original unopened packages with
labels intact.
2. Store all materials protected from weather and at
temperatures not less than 40 deg. F.
F. JOB CONDITIONS:
1. Ambient air temperature shall be 40 deg. F., or greater
and rising at the time of installation and shall remain at
40 deg. F., or greater for at least 24 hours after
application.
2. Adjacent materials and the Dryvit System shall be
protected during installation, while curing and/or
unattended, from weather and other damage.
2.00 PRODUCTS
A. GENERAL: All components of the Dryvit System shall be
obtained from Dryvit Systems, Inc., or its authorized
distributors. No substitutions of, or additions of, other
materials shall be submitted without Architect's prior written
approval before bid date opening.
B. MATERIALS FOR INTERIOR DRYVIT SYSTEM:
1. Adhesive: A 100$ acrylic-based product manufactured by
Dryvit System, Inc., for interior application.
2. Finish: Intones Quartztone with color as selected by
Architect.
3. Approved Equals: STO; FINESTONE; C-CURE.
C. MATERIALS FOR EXTERIOR DRYVIT SYSTEM:
1. Adhesive: A 100$ acrylic-based product manufactured by
Dryvit System, Inc.

2. Insulation Board:
a. Nominal 1.0 pcf, aged expanded polystyrene meeting the
specifications of Dryvit System, Inc.
b. Flamespread and smoke development shall be less than
or equal to 25 and 450 respectively when tested by ASTM
E-84.
c. Maximum size shall be 2' x 4'.
d. Thickness shall be 2" (19 mm).
3. Reinforcing Meshes: A balanced, open weave, treated
glass fiber mesh, supplied by Dryvit System, Ind.
4. Panzer Mesh: A balanced, treated, heavy glass fiber
mesh.
5. Finish: A 100$ acrylic-based, factory-mixed coating
having integral color and texture. Sandblast basic texture
type.
6. Lamina: Shall be classified by Underwriters Laboratory
as having a flamespread of less than or equal to 25 when
tested by ASTM E-84.
7. System:
a. Shall have been tested for moisture resistance, rain
resistance, absorption-freeze, accelerated weathering,
mildew resistance, salt spray resistance, chemical
resistance, and abrasion resistance.
b. Shall have been tested at full scale for impact
resistance and structural load capacity per ASTM E-72 and
E-330 respectively.
c. Shall have been tested by the following fire test
methods:
(1) Modified ASTM E-108
(2) ULC 5-101
(3) Factory Mutual Corner Test
8. Cement: Type 1, Portland Cement meeting ASTM C-150.
9. Water: Shall be clean and potable.
10. Sealant System: Tremco "Dymeric" with Primer ~1 or
'Pecora "Dynatrol 11" with Primer P75, as approved.
3..00 PROCEDURES
A. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION (FOR INTERIOR): Drywall subcontractor
shall tape and float all joints in drywall. Painting
subcontractor shall then apply a single coat of good quality
flat Latex paint ae approved by the Dryvit Subcontractor.
B. INSPECTION: Prior to application, the substrate shall be
examined for compliance with the Contract Documents and
Specifications. Contractor and Architect shall be advised of
all discrepancies; work shall not proceed until unsatisfactory
conditions are corrected.

C. INSTALLATION: Provide work in strict accordance with
applicable requirements of Dryvit Systems, Inc., printed "long
form" specifications, latest edition.
D. PRIOR APPROVAL FOR SUBSTITUTIONS: Request for approval to
substitute materials, methods or processes shall be made to
Architect no later than (5) working days prior to date for
submission of subcontract proposals to general contractors, and
if found acceptable, will be confirmed by an Addendum to the
Construction Documents. Where proposed substitutions are NOT
incorporated into the Construction Documents by Addendum PRIOR
TO the General Contract Bid Opening, all bids shall be held to
have been made on the basis of materials, methods and processes
required by the Construction Documents. CONTRACTOR NOTE: The
terms "substitution", "equal", and similar wording as used
herein shall be held to mean "a proposal to use any material,
method or process other than the materials, methods or processes
as specified in this Section, as well as related work as noted
on the Drawings".
