contract with the Kerrville Little League regarding additional
property located at the present Little League fields.
David Motley, County Attorney addressFd the Court stating that.
at the present time we have a contract with Kerrville Little
League which is a 2.5 yr. ground lease whir,;h consists of 3.95
acres to expire on Fek>ruary 9, 2012, The rent paid is $1.00
per year lessee agrees to pay utilities. The Kerrville Little
League came to mc~ want.ing to expand the property to
approximately 16 acres. This land is in the flood plain. The
constitution restricts us gi.viny :;omething of value for no
value. I would like to come up w.it.h a way to uphold the
consti.t_ution. I have offered to work something out with Rit
,Ions, Attorney in the way of a lease.
