ORDER NO. 21807 APPRDVAL OF COLLECTION OF SECURITY FEES AS ALLOWED BY SENATE BILL 243 On this the 1st day of February 1994, upon motion made by _ Commissioner Lehman, seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the C_ Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to approve the Sheriff's recommendation that the clerks of the county and district courts collect a "Courthouse Security Fee" at the time of filing each civil case in the amount of $5.00 as allowed by the passage of Senate Bill 243 in the 73rd Legislature. Effective February 15, 1994. Item No. 2.3 Discuss and approve manning metal detectors and paying personnel from the Courthouse Security Fees. This item was passed at this time to a later date. The Court would like to see how much money is going to be collected before they approve personnel for this task. ORDRR NO. 21808 OPENED RND READ BIDS ALOUD FOR NEW TRACTOR/LOADER/BACKHOE IN THS ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT On this the 1st day of February 1994, came on to he considered the bids of Case Power & Equipment of San Antonio for $23,987.00, and the bid of Kuenstler Machinery Co, of San Antonio for $22,819.00, upon motion made by Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to refer all bids to the Road and Bridge Administrator and the County Engineer for further consideration and return back to the Court with their recommendation on March 1, 1994.
