Money to come from bond ITEM NO. 2.20 consider plan to be implemented by Kerr EMS to provide First Responders the basic tools to serve County residents. Commissioner. Holelcamp addressed the Court stating last year we initiated a first responders program. I have attached e list of request needed. County Requests F, i.t_her Raymond Tennison or Ray Derri.rk to he E'irst Responder Coordinator. 20 - B.L.S. Kite, for First Responders 20 - Pagers for First Responders. These kits and pagers should he equally divided through the entire county. 1 Phone Line for 911 to First Responders Pagers. First Responder:; should be paged by zones, which have been dr-~s ig n;.3ted by the First Responders to be their primary residence of place of employment. I would recommend 4 or 5 zones throughout the county. Billing cost to Kerr County for Jail Pick-ups. First Responders Program cannot expend more than 58,000.00 in this budget year ending September 30, 1994. Cost should fall under 57,000.00. I would like to take this to the EMS Advisory Committee and see if this is what they would like to do and come back to the court with an answer. The Court. told Commissioner Holekamk5 to proceed.
