On this the 8th clay of March 1994, upon motion made by
Commissioner Oehler, seconded by Commissioner Lehman, the
(court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to authorize. a
hand check to Fidelity Abstract Titlcr Escrow for $23].,37J.87
for purchase of property on new Law Enforcement Facility from
Four State Financial Corporation. Money to come from hon<i
proceeds.

Consider plan to be implemented by Kerr EMS to provide First
Responders the basic tools to serve County residents.
Commissioner Holekamp addressed the Court stating last year we
initiated a first responders program. I have attached a list
of request neec9ed.
County Reyuests
Either Raymond Tennison or Ray Derrick to be First Responder
Coordineitor.
?.0 - B.L.S. Kite; for First Responders 20 - Pagers for First
Responders. These kits and pagers should he equally divided
through t2irr entire county.
1 Fhone Line for 91.1 to E'irst Responders Pagers. i'irst
Responders should be paged by zones, which have keen
dcsiynated by the E'irst Responders to be their primary
residence of place of employment. I would recommend 4 or 5
zones throughout the county. Billing cost to Kerr County for
.Tail Pick-ups. First Responders Frogram cannot expend more
than $9,000.00 in this budget year ending September 30, 1994.
Cost should fall under $7,000.00. I would like to take this
to the FMS Advisory Committee and see if this is what they
would like to do and come back to the court with an answer.
The Court told Commissioner Holekamp to proreed.
