ORDER NO. 21913 APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH LCRA FOR RADIO TRANSMISSION FOR THE KERB COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT On this the 23rd day of March 1994, upon motion made by Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Lehman, the Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to approve the agreement with LCRA for $9,360.00 for installation of radio equipment on tower. This includes the shelter with associated materials and installation, and antenna system installation. Advantage Communications, Inc. will supply and deliver antenna with top mount clamp set DECIBEL DB224; 350' Spools of 1/8" Heliax; 7/8" Heliax Connector type "N" female; 7/8 Heliax Connector UHF Female; and DB11649 Coaxial Cable Wire Ties (100/pkg) for a total price of $5,144.00 COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION ON Wednesday, March 23, 1994 with all Officers' present and the following proceedings were had: 02/~/~ A Joint Meeting was held with the Kerr County Commissioners' and the Kerr County Juvenile Board. ITEM 1.2 Consideration and discussion and possible action on contract for the RECOR proposed juvenile facility. The members present from the RECOR Entity were: Mike Dixon, Jo Ann Rogers, Barney Knight, Domingo Quintero, Bruce Williams, Rick Vander5lyde, and Mr. Heckman. Judge Prohl's purpose to the meeting was to negotiate with RECOR for a Juvenile Detention Facility. The update on the facility is that the dormitories have been designed for female:. to meet standards. Kerr County will have the final approval of plans. Our Attorneys have worked out the paper work and RECOR is ready to go forward. Construction could begin as early as 30 days. This facility is a forty-eight bed facility with approximately 2300 square feet. Twelve of these beds are for females; and this does include one classroom. The plan is expandable. Judge Prohl stated he would like to negotiate with RSCOR with a lease and escrow agreement to be done by March 29, 1994. A combined meeting is set for March 30, 1994, at 9:00 A. M. .judge Prohl made a motion to approve the Nancy Cavazos to the Juvenile Advisory Council to replace Vanessa Williams term which will expire in January 1995 and further appoint Janel Randow, Mike Davidson, Susie Haynie, and John Lavender to serve a two year term.
