On this the 26th day of April 1994, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconrh d by Commiissioner Oehler, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 3-0-0, to approve
amending Order # 21881 to read as follows:
The Kerr County Commissioners' Court does hereby: (1) refuse
to renew the contract with the Kerrville South Volunteer Fire
Department; (2) sever ties with the Kerrville South Volunteer
Fire Department immediately; (3) invite other interested
persons or groups t.o form a Volunteer fire Department to serve
the Kerrville South area and further, (4) agree to assist in
the orderly transfer of assets to such persons or group wha
may form another Volunteer Fire Department in succession of the
y Kerrville South Volunteer Fire Department. Set out in this
order, infra, as "Exhibit A" are the entities which will cover
the areas formerly covered by the Kerrville South Volunteer
Pire Department until a new Volunteer F.'ire Department may he
organized to serve the Kerrville South Area.
