COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION ON Tuesday,
September 20, 1944 with all Officers present:
Item 2.2 Public Hearing on proposed elected official salary
increase.
A Public Hearing was held on the proposed salary increases for
the certain Elected Officials,
Gerrie Vanderveen, Lee Spaulding, Bob Colenbaugh, Jimmy Taylor
all spoke on the subject with an opposition to no more taxes.
Bill Pearson asked where all these people were when the budget
was being discussed artd the jail issue was being presented?
The public hearing came to a close at 9:55 A. M. and the
following proceedings were had:

Commissioner Lehman, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp,
the Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0'0, to adopt
