AGPROVAL OF PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING
KERR COUNTY FAIR WEEK
On this the 27th day of September 1994, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissionet• Oehler, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 3-0-0, to approve the
proclamation as submitted to the Court.
PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Kerr County recognizes the Kerr County Fair
Rssociation as a vital and productive association
of our county; and
WHEREAS, the Kerr County Fair Association was organized in
1978 and continues through today;
WHEREAS, the Ker•r^ County Fair• Association sponsors a Fair
`` Pageant, offering scholarships to four young
ladies; and
WHEREAS, the Kerr County Fair Association sponsors the
County Fair with exhibits of crafts, canned goods,
baked goods and livestock by local residents with a
strong emphasis on Kerr County youth;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT KNOWN:
Kerr County proclaims the week of October 3rd
through 8th, 1994 to be
KERR COUNTY FAIR WEEK

On this the 27th day of September 1994, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 3-0-0, to adopt the
agenda rules and insert them into the budget with the General
Provisions .
AGENDA REQUEST RULES ADOPTED HY COMMISSIONERS' COURT
1. Agenda requests must 6e completely filled in, including
the approximate length of time your- presentation will take.
2. Agenda requests shall have backup information attached to
enable the commissioners' court to study prior to meeting
date. All requests have to be approved by the County Judge
andJor Commissioner^ (by initialing or signature) before being
placed on the official agenda. (Back-up information shall
include a shor^t written explanation of your request to the
Court)
Supporting documentation NOT received within the 48 hours
period prior to posting will be cause for that item not being
considered during the meeting unless a wr-itten statement
signed by the County Judge or one of the Commissioners' is
submitted to the County Judge's Office in time to be included
in the Rgenda Package.
3. Agenda request involving specific problems is a precinct
(i. e., roads, septic, platting, subdivisions, etc) must be
initialed and approved by the applicable precinct commissioner
before being placed on the official agenda.
4. No supplement agenda items will 6e accepted except under
the Emergency Meeting requirement. (Notice of Emergency
Meeting or• Emergency Addition to Agenda: ... (b) An emergency
or an urgent public necessity exists only; if immediate action
is required of a governmental body because of: (i> an imminent
threat to public health and safety; or• (2) a reasonably
unforeseeable situation... TITLE ,°,, CHAPTER 551, GOVERNMENT
CODE RNA TITLE 5, CHARTER 552, GOVERNMENT CODE.) A11
supplemental or emergency requests must be signed by the
County Judge.
5. Agenda Request cut-off time will be Tuesday at 5:00 p. m.
prior- to a Monday Meeting.
6. Authority to make exceptions to these rules are the sole
responsibility of the county .judge and/ar individual
commissioners.

2.11 Consider Unifor^m Contract. (Co+anty Engineer/Road
Administrator) (Executive Session is necessary)

APPROVAL OF UNIFORM BID FOR THE
RORD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 27th day of September 1994, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 3-0-0, to approve the
bid with CintAs as presented to the Gourt. The Court has
asked to sign a contract with CintAs for uniforms and have Mr.
Johnston sign said contract.
2.12 Consider and discuss proposed job description for the
Environmental Health Officer. ( Commissioner Pct # 3)
This item was discussed and Mr, Litke is to come back to the
Court with a revised job description as some things were left
out of the draft copy.
