On this the 11th day of October- 1994, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded 6y Commissioner Oehler, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to approve a
part-time position for- the Ker-r• County Extension Office at
85.00 per hour for 19 hours a weeks funds to come from
Commissioners' Court Contingency and any monies that maybe
left fr^om Jerri Ray's salary after she retires in January is
to be credited to Commissianer•s' Court Contingency.
ITEM 2.5 Consider the development and appointment of a Ker-r
County Fire Marshal. (Danny Wooten)
Mr. Wooten addressed the Court with a r^esume to be County Fire
Marshal and ways the County could benefit fr^om having a Fire
Marshal. The Court was impressed by his resume and would like
some time to think about the position. This item is to be
brought back on the Uctober•~4, 1994 Ayenda.
Item 2.7 Approve Volunteer Fire Department Contract between
Kerr County and the Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department
-~~ and authorize the County Judge to sign same.

WHERERS, Ker^r County, Texas, hereinafter COUNTY, a political
subdivision of the State of Texas, has the authority, under^
Texas Local Government Code Sec. 351.001 to furnish fire
