Memorandum TO: Commissioners' Court FROM: Leonard Odom, Jr., County Road Administrator DATE: July 24, 1995 RE: Site work at Kerr County Animal Control Facility Road & Bridge has been asked to do site work at the new Kerr County Animal Control Facility. Since I will be on vacation during the time this work needs to be completed, I ask that you consider the following and designate one person to work with Truby Hardin and Joe Biermann to complete the project. These are some items that we will have to work around, and we would like for you to be aware of: a. The design called for a'/4" inch per foot fall between the sidewalk and building, but it was built with at 1/8" per ft. We will work to get the water away from the building and to get the best possible drainage, but there may still be some drainage problems. There is no grade stated for the surface behind the building at the ramp and the azchitect \ specified 12" from ramp to finish asphalt. We do not know what the grade will have to be ~, ~,"'. ~~ to get the slope which is suppose to drain the trucks. Is this what you want? c. The drawings sow a driveway entrance off Loop 534, pazking in the front, a dnve to the back, and surface at the ramp, but there is no access from the~andfill road. Do yo~a~t,- the back drive to connect to the landfill road? ~~t~aw~'c = /~©./ ~ l~~a.2~/~ ~~/ rr~~ d. We can use soil from the back of the lot for fill and subv-grade. To purchase base material, gavel, and oil it will take approximately $4,000. If you want top soil brought it for landscaping you will need to purchase that too. At this time we ask that you give us a working purchase order with the line item for payment of these items? .~ ~ ~ e. Attache is a~~er fr 'the ~ty approving the method of surface that we use on our County roads. This is pea gravel and CRS-2H. Is this acceptable to you? Road & Bridge, is still working to complete our seal coat program as well as several other projects that have been scheduled for some time. We will work with the designated person to accomplish this job as soon as possible, but it may be necessary for the work crew to pull off and help the department. 07/17/95 10:48 FA% 2108988793 CITY OF ICERRVILL ~J001 0009•LS'LJOLZ • 69Q~s'8a09L51f1C31'31'k/Wtl3)I • ~td/MWJIFIhIO1L~PIfIf00B `Pio~~i Fio~H 'dia~?S •ia~eou s~ ao sno~sanb aaq~ ~~re ae~ no~C ~ n~ooa~ acu ~i xea~ -~tuno~ a~ 6q app[n aq ~ xnoq~ ~ si ~~ pae qm~ 3a IDosm a~ pua ~~ a~ o~ tio~a~sq~s st IIo~oaad ~gaop ~,o asa a~ aa>~e a~ •saornia5 a~gnd ~o Q'aa~noQ tmt ~~ $tIIr~nB paB ~urgxna ~ s~uamaimbaa ~Cuu puS ~~aqS P~FaH a~ ~ saw $rm~~d aq~ m~ i~~ ~p~ds~ Qon~nauad aignop asn rn ~sanbxi maC passnasip aaeq I ..~ =~~d ~Q ~IaRS i~ `gaffs $uoµ~d ion ig?~L1Z cC9nS S66T `LL ~[nt sBxay ~~~ ~ raau~~u~ ~nno, `aa~sut~or ~uaz~ ~' S~'X3.I.
