On ticn•ember 10, 1991, an inspection by l~lario Garza of this department. at the subject location.
re~•ealcd that the on-site sewage facility needs upgrading.
This inspection revealed that the septic system tank and drainfield was undeesized fora 2 bedroom
house. 'The site septic tank is a 550 gallon. Standards require a 750 gallon septic tank. ~I7u•
drainficl<i was only about 36 feet long; is within the 50 feet minimum distance from a sharp slop:
and the drainleld is within the 150 feet minimum distance from a well.
The soil profile hole showed 14 inches gravelly clz~y loam over cemented Iirnestone and requires an
alternatiti•e s~•stem to be installed. Additional soil evaluation will be required to verify the soils in
the area for a netiv drai~eld. An alternative system requires a professional engineer or a registcrcci
sanitarian io design the sysi:,m to the soil and site conditions present.
The ~-~hcr rnohiie borne system is reported to be abandoned. The tank must he pumped out. and
bacl:liffcd with dirt to render it useless.
