Consider extending and renewing of expired permit applications and permits
to construct and approving fees for such permit extension or renewals.
This item was discussed and the Court feels if the person has paid for a permit
once that they should not have to pay again. The Court suggested having the
individual write a letter stating the status on the situation where the
books could be closed or remain open.

(her the last 6 months I have received several requests for time extensions, renewals. and waivers
of fees for applications and permits.
There are no written provisions for these requests in the Rules Sec. 6.42(d) and Sec. 6.0=1(c). The
rules only state when expiration occurs.
To olarify this situation I would ask the Court to agree on either=
1) «'hen a permit or application expires the applicant reapplies with new
application and fees as stated in the fee schedule minus the floodplain and state fee.
This amount would be $100.00.

2) Establish a renewal fee (Sec. 3.04) suggested fee 525.00.
