HUSER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. June 15, 1995 Mr. Glen Holekamp Kerr County 700 Main St. Kerrville, TX 78028 Dear Glen: As you requested I am writing this letter to summarize my understanding of the Court's directive in regard to the completion of the Animal Shelter. The following items will be deleted from our contract: Delete painting of all metal Delete painting of all CMU block Delete toilet accessories It is my understanding that there are a couple of changes pending with the Architect. The amount of these changes appears to be minor. We suggest that the guaranteed maximum cost amount of the contract be amended to reflect a maximum cost to the County of $185,000.00. The breakout of the pricing is as follows: A. Estimated Cost $183,866.00 B. Contingency 1,134.00 Total $185,000.00 The above pricing also assumes that all of the work currently installed on the site is acceptable. We have not included any costs associated with any rework, specifically the concrete block walls and the entry door. We will install ceramic the in place of the impervious wall panel (IWP) as previously discussed. Please find attached copies of the estimate for your review. We respectfully request formal authorization to proceed based on the above revisions and associated cost. If you have any questions, please call.
