APPROVE THE AMENDED CONTRACT WITH
HUSER BUILDING CDNTRACTORS ON
THE KERR COUNTY ANIMAL FACILITY
On this the 15th day of June, 1995 upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp and seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to approve the
contract be amended to reflect a maximum cost to the County of
~185,~-Z~~.i00 on the Kerr County Animal Facility and authorize
the County Judge to~sign the same.

Dear Glen:
As you requested I am writing this letter to summarize my understanding of the Court's
directive in regard to the completion of the Animal Shelter. The following items will be
deleted from our contract:
Delete painting of all metal
Delete painting of all CMU block
Delete toilet accessories
It is my understanding that there are a couple of changes pending with the Architect. The
amount of these changes appears to be minor. We suggest that the guaranteed maximum
cost amount of the contract be amended to reflect a maximum cost to the County of
$185,000.00. The breakout of the pricing is as follows:
A. Estimated Cost $183,866.00
B. Contingency 1,134.00
Total $185,000.00
The above pricing also assumes that all of the work currently installed on the site is
acceptable. We have not included any costs associated with any rework, specifically the
concrete block walls and the entry door. We will install ceramic the in place of the
impervious wall panel (IWP) as previously discussed.
Please find attached copies of the estimate for your review. We respectfully request
formal authorization to proceed based on the above revisions and associated cost. If you
