RE: Sign Policy
On 4/91 the Court and R&B established a policy to charge a fee for street signs on non-county
maintained roads. Once the signs were installed we would maintain them.
This procedure works well, and we feel it should apply to roads being built by a developer that
will become County maintained.
This will assure that roads accepted by Kerr County aze properly signed. We sign the roads for
the developer with the developer reimburses Ken County Road & Bridge for the cost of the
work.
Two such cases are Southern Investments for Estates of Turtle Creek and Louis Soell for
Larry-Wayne Lane as shown on the attached letters.
_._ -- In order for R&B to put these funds back into our Sign Budget Line Item we need a Court Order
allowing the Treasurer to deposit them into 15-611-457.

Dear Mr. Soell,
Kerr County Road & Bridge Department has inspected Larry-Wayne Lane in Louie-Lou Subdivision and
found it to meet County specifications with the exception of signs. You still need to install signs (name
of the street and a stop sign) at each end of the road.
Road & Bridge will install the signs for you at our cost, or you may do them yourself as long as they meet
Uniform Traffice Control Devices regulations. Our cost is as follows:
