Commissioner, Oehler,, seconded by Commissioner Lehman, the
Caur^t unanimously approved by a vote of 4-Qt-0, to accept
Cimarron Road for County Maintenance with the following
conditions i) Road shall be b~_~ilt with adequate ditches for
drainage, ~) Existing road scarified and mixed with 6"
thickness, Type A., flexible base and recompacted to 95%, 3)
Add herbicide to kill grass in roadway, and 4) Money to be put
in escrow for payment of materials to be ~_ised.

RE: Cimarron Road
Dear Mr. Imel,
The road you refer to in your letter of October 20, 1995, as Cimarron Road is not a county road. The
county will only accept maintenance on a road that is built to county specifications by the
owner/developer, and after the 1 year owner/developer Maintenance Bond has expired.
I have driven Cimarron Road and in order for it to meet county specifications the following should be

done.
1. Road shall be built with adequate ditches for drainage.
2. Existing road scarified and mixed with 6" thickness, Type A, flexible base and
recompacted to 95%.
3. Add herbicide to kill grass in roadway.
4. Double penetration sealcoat.
5. After the above is complete, and after a 1 year owner/developer Maintenance Bond has expired,
and upon acceptance by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court, the road will become a county
maintained road.
