RE: Consider Cost of Equipment Repairs
We have some unexpected expenses of equipment repairs.
1. Hyster Flat Wheel Roller purchased 5/15/91 for $47,000, has extensive damage.
Used parts to repair this piece of equipment will cost $22,000. New Parts $32,000.
2. 1984 - 930 Cat Loader purchased in 2/28/84 for $51,010, needs $6,000 in parts.
3. 1989 - GMC 6yd Dump Truck purchased in 1/31/89 for $25,000 needs a new
transmission that will cost at least $1,000.
The total cost of these repairs will be anywhere from $29,000 to $39,000.
Our annual budget for equipment repairs was $ 73,000
To date we have used - 28,000
$ 45,000
We have already used 38% of our budget in 25% of the year, and we have not started with the
bulk of our work.
At this time we ask for direction by the Court on what we should do.
