_: ~ ,' f ~ ~ REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COUNTYWIDE PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN AND GRANT PREPARATION FOR TEXAS RECREATION AND PARKS ACCOUNT PROGRAM GRANT THROUGH THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT OF THE STATE O F TEXAS. Proposals addressed to the Kerr County Commissioner's Court and plainly marked "Proposal for Kerr County Park Development Program, Consulting Services" shall be received at the Kerr County Clerk's Office located at the County Courthouse, 700 Main Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028 and such proposals shalt be received until 9:00 A.M. current Kerrville time on June 3, 1996. Proposals will be opened and reviewed for award or rejection at 9:00 A.M., June 3, 1996. Proposals received after the time and date specified above shall be returned unopened. Scope of Services: Recreation/Park Planning, Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Landscape Architecture. All disciplines may be either in-house or provided by qualified sub-consultants. Firms must address each discipline and indicate which shall be subcontracted. Specific Services and Requirements shall include, but not be limited to the following: Preparation of Texas Recreation and Parks Account Grant Application through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. ("TPWD Grant") in association with the Lower Colorado River Authority. Assistance and Development of a Five Yeaz Master Plan for Parks in Ken County in accordance with the TPWD Grant Application to include: Assist in Inventory of Existing Facilities; Prepare and Conduct Citizens Survey; Needs Assessment and Prioritization; Establish Area Concepts and Standards; and Plan Implementation. Recent experience in successful preparation, completion, and funding of Reereation/Pazks Master Plans for TPWD Grants. Recent experience comparable to the proposed project including a list of at least three (3) similar projects with appropriate names, addresses and phone numbers of representatives who can be contacted as references in regard to said projects. Capability to immediately perform all the services required for noted projects on or before July 10, 1996. Capability to complete TPWD Grant Application by July 25, 1996.
