RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The County of Kerr desires to promote the preservation of
open spaces and natural parklands for the use and benefit of
the public and future generations; and
WHEREAS, The Kerr County Parks and Recreation Mater Plan reflects
the need for recreational opportunities jurisdiction wide; and
WHEREAS, The Kerr County Parks and Recreation Master Plan was
formulated through extensive research and personal
interviews conducted by a board base of partnerships,
including LCRA and prominent citizens of Kerr County; and
WHEREAS, The Kerr County Parks and Recreation Master Plan has
been developed to provide a framework for addressing the
emerging and important County role in the park and
recreation needs of Ken County citizens, therefore be it;
RESOLVED, At this meeting of Commissioners' Court of Ken County,
Texas on this the 15th day of July, 1996 on motion made by
Commissioner OetLer and seconded
by Commissioner Lehman ,that the Kerr
County Parks and Recreation Mater Plan be adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by a majority vote of the
Commissioners' Court of the County Ken, Texas.
