Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-4~-8, the Seventh
Amendment and Extension of Fire Fighting Agreement with the
City of Kerrville and a~_ithctr-ize Co~_inty J,_~dge to sign same.
SF_VF_NTH RMENDMENT AND EXTENSION OF
CITYJCOUNTY FIRE FIGHTING RGREEMENT
This SEVENTH AMENDMENT, by and between the CITY OF KERRVILLE,
l"EXRS, her-ein called "City", and COUNTY OF KERR, TEXRS, hter-ein
called "Cn~_inty", which amends and extends that cer-'fain FIRE
FIGHTING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF KERRVILLE AND KERR
COUNTY, Dated May 'E'E, 199V~, which agreement has been amended
and extended by agr-eements dated December li, i990, Rugust 27,
1991, R,_tg,_ist 11, 1992, September- DES, 199, September- 14, 199A,
September- 12, 1995, (her-ezvfter collectively referred to as
"the Rgreement"7, is entered efFective October 1, 1996, for'
and in cansider-ivtion of the following agreements:
1. The term of the agreement be renewed and extended for the
per-~iod beginning October 1, 1996, and ending September ?O,
1997.
~. For the services rendered by City pursuant to ttie Agreement

to pay City the amount of 875,0GG.0G, payable in twelve equal

SEVENTH AMENDMENT AND EXTENSION OF
CITY/COUNTY FIRE FIGHTING AGREEMENT
This SEVENTH AMENDMENT, by and between the CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS,
herein called "City", and COUNTY OF KERB, TEXAS, herein called "County", which amends and
extends that certain Fire Fighting Agreement Between the Ciry of Kerrville and Kerr County, dated
May 22, 1990, which agreement has been amended and extended by agreements dated December 11,
1990, August 27, 1991, August 11, 1992, September 28, 1993, September 14, 1994, and September
12, 1995, (hereafter collectively referred to as "the Agreement"), is entered effective October 1,
1996, for and in consideration of the following agreements:
1. The term of the agreement be renewed and extended for the period beginning October 1,
1996, and ending September 30, 1997.
2. For the services rendered by City pursuant to the Agreement during the term defined in
paragraph 1, above, County agrees to pay City the amount of $75,000.00, payable in twelve equal
installments of $6,250.00 each, the first payment being due on October 15, 1996, with payments
continuing and due on the fifteenth (15th) day of each successive calendar month thereafter during
the term of the Agreement, with the final payment due on September 15, 1997.
3. City and County agree that except as extended and amended herein, the provisions and
conditions of the Agreement, inclusive of all prior amendments, are hereby ratified and affirmed and
remain in full force and effect.
