SUBJECT: Video Arraignments from Law Enforcement Center to
Courthouse
I discussed above with Joe Santopetro today.
No fiber optic lines to jail so costs will be higher.
Prism phone line (live audio and delayed video) will cost around $35,000.
No annual license required and no study necessary.
Microwave wireless link (live audio and live video) will cost around $32,000.
Requires annual license ($200-$400) and survey study (line of sight) ($400-$600).
Will require 4-6 weeks to install and will require bidding process.
Joe will draw specs for us.
