Such observation was requested by Contractor, pursuant to issuance of a Certificate of Substantial Completion which accompanies this List in order that the Owner may occupy the premises and satisfy certain timing requvements. The successful rectification of items on this list is subject to a fmal observation which will be performed by the Architect and Engineer at such time when the Contractor certifies that the items are complete under the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents, or as modified by mutual consent of the Owner and Contractor. Rectification of items on this list does not relieve the Contractor of other specific requvements of the Contract Documents. GENERAL 1. Provide for Architect's review of 3-ring bound set of Operations & Maintenance Manual, including Warranty information, list of contractors and suppliers, etc. 2. Provide to Architect a complete accurately mazked Job Set for Architect to transfer to Record Documents for Owner with specifc attention to revised and actual utility locations. EXTERIOR 1. Complete sealant work at revised door and any new openings. 2. Complete closure of abandoned exhaust fan enclosures with sheetmetal or painted plywood and install exhaust fan in Men's Room. 3. Grind 3/4" edge off bottom of handicap ramp to make a smooth transition with concrete pazking azea. GENERAL 1. Clean-out shelving, cabinets; complete attachment of cabinets to blocking. 2. Complete staining, sealing, painting of all molding, trim, shelving and cabinets. tile:kctlisL001 Page lof 5 3. Seal underside or cabinets and wunter tops with Thompson's, urethane, or paint. 4. Remove errant stain, paint, sealer, and caulk from hazdwaze, tile, glass, painted surfaces, thresholds, weatherstripping, electrical outlets, switches, plates, doors and windows. 5. Test all HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; start-up appliances; check for leaks and malfunctions. 6. Install escutcheons in sealant (or sealant only, if concealed) at plumbing penetrations of walls to close openings. 7. Install pull cords (or phone cable) to all J-boxes. Cover all open receptacles or junction boxes with specified appropriate TV, telephone receptacles or blank plates. 8. Clean scuffs and dirt from floors; generally clean dust and dirt from all surfaces, when all work is complete. 9. Caulk joints of door frames, fixtures, restroom cabinet and countertop at wall and touch-up paint. Use paintable NP 1 sealant or acrylic latex caulk. Color to be antique white or match to paint and wall covering. 10. Lubricate and set all hinge pins and binding or noisy hardware. 11. Sand radius onto sharp comers of end panel trim and cabinets. 12. Master key all door locks to courthouse system. 13. Provide Ives #455 or equivalent hold opens on all doors with closers that do not have hold-open feature. 14. Install door silencers. 15. Eliminate gaps in wall surface azound all outlets and coverplates. 16. Clean ceiling grid, grilles, and diffusers. Clean all electrical and other debris from top of ceiling. 17. Correct doors from dragging against door frame or flooring. 18. Install missing door stops. Adjust stops so that hazdwaze does not lock when door is opened against. 19. Install missing hardware, and clean al] glass. 20. Touch up ceiling paint (cover existing silicone caulk with NP 1 or paintable caull:) azound light fixtures, grilles, exit lights, and ceiling mounted equipment. 21. Clean kitchen unit, remove protective film, and verify operation of components. 4. Cover junction box in ceiling space. WAITING 1.
