RE: CONTRACT FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
OF THE KERB COUNTY COURT RENOVATION
Deaz Judge Denson:
In light of the circumstances and events taking place within the County regazding our firm and
performance, we request that the County allow us to terminate our Contract for the above. Never in this
firm's thirty-eight yeaz history have we ever had to undertake such a painful measure. You and
Commissioners Holekamp, Oehler and Lackey have made working with Kerr County a pleasurable
experience and we thank all of you for your support during this recent unpleasantness by a group of
malicious individuals.
Since we will be pursuing legal action against some of these individuals, and we will be calling on
Commissioner Court Members to testify, we feel it would be everyone's best interest for the County to
wnsider another firm for this project. The Schematic Design has been paid for, so you may use it to give
to anyone that you select. We will only seek payment for the amount of work performed during the Design
Development Phase. This invoice will be sent to you within a week, along with copies of the work
performed to date in Design Development.
Once again, we sincerely regret having to take this action, but with the. conditions that aze now present, it
seems sagacious to do so.
